Who is CLAY? CLAY—Catholic Life and You - is a group of singles and couples mainly in their 30s to 40s though anyone is welcome. To download the CLAY Brochure, click here. Why CLAY? CLAY was created to foster community, friendship and a shared sense of purpose among this demographic - one which is typically under-represented in church communities. Why the Cathedral? Even though most members are not parishioners at the Cathedral, we call the Cathedral our home since it’s the Mother church of the Archdiocese. Why Married and Single People? Because we are called to live in the communion of persons, both married and single people participate. We also believe that we have a good environment where we can learn from each other. What Type of Events Does CLAY Offer? Following our motto Living our Catholic faith, building community, and being “doers of the word” we have activities that encourage members to share their enthusiasm, talents, and time and revitalize their faith with other like-minded Catholics. We focus not only on social events, but also on spiritual, service, and outdoor opportunities. How To Get Involved Getting involved with CLAY is simple. Here are some ways to start participating: Stop by the Cathedral in downtown Denver at 1530 Logan St (corner of Colfax Ave & Logan) to pick up a hard copy of the calendar. Calendars are usually located on desks by the main and side entrances with other flyers and announcements. Pick an event on the calendar and just show up. There is a social at the Cathedral usually on the 2nd Sunday of every even month to which we especially invite newcomers, but you don't have to wait until then to come to your first event. Introduce yourself once you're there or call an event sponsor for more details and tell them that you're coming so they'll be looking for you.
